Another fun and busy weekend...

It was our nephew Gunnar's 5th birthday party on Saturday. They had a very fun bounce house that had a little obstacle course and a slide. Took Taylor a little while before she got enough courage to jump on in with so many boys in there. Always a good time with Uncle Johnny around! =) Then Saturday night, my coolest brother-in-law in the world had a special night set up for Dawn and I. He surprised us with a night of jammies, a glass of wine, popcorn, gourmet cupcakes and Edward! It was a fun night. Very thoughtfully planned out by Chris! He even came over to our house and hung out, with our kids in bed, while i went and watched the movie at their house because Danny was working. Very fun night with the sis-in-law....and Edward. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about...read Twilight.

On Sunday, we FINALLY made it to church. We have been wanting to get involved in a church out in our "new valley", but there are SO many good ones out here it has been hard to decide. But we checked out Grace Baptist today and really liked it and Taylor really enjoyed going to Sunday School too!

After church, we headed over to a friend of a friends house where Taylor learned how to ride a motorcycle by herself!!! VERY exciting!! Who needs boys after all!?

Monday we are off to the river with the Cuskey clan! Can't wait to get away and relax!

P.S. Remi is doing much better!!

Where do I start....

Well for starter's, our big girl turned 4 on Sunday! We had a small family party for her on Saturday. She had all her counsins and few other close friends over and they had a blast! It was pretty funny to watch them. They were all like a herd of sheep. Wherever one would go, they all would follow. They would go from riding their bikes out front, to the bounce house, to the trampoline and back out front to their bikes. The girl got everything she asked for! From having Dora on her cake, to a new bike with a "ding ding" and a "honk honk", a yo-yo and a pogo stick. Along with a trip to Disneyland, lots of cute dresses and bubbles to last a life time! =) Not to mention, the dress of all princess dresses...for the princess that LOVES to dress up! Praise the Lord...I was healthy enough to be at the party. I had the stomach flu all week and was not able to prepare much for the party! My wonderful husband had to come home from work on Friday to help take care of me, the girls, and run errands for the party. Also in the midst of being sick and the party and all, our dog Remi has been sick. So maybe keep her in your prayers as she is at the Vet and they are trying to figure out what's wrong with her. Hopefully she doesn't go past her limit of $2000, which has already been extended from $600.

More Birthday Pics here!!!

Busy weekend!

The girls and I went to the Long Beach Aquarium on Saturday along with Gigi and Papa and cousins Gunnar and Hudson! The kids had a blast!! Taylor pointed out the reflection of a heart that this snake was making! Pretty cool!! Click here to check out the rest of the pics from our trip!

On Sunday we met up with our friends at the beach in Ventura. They were camping at Emma Wood in their RV's right on the beach. We all had so much fun!! Taylor had a blast running on the sand and in the water with Jenna and Sonny, while Devan LOVED playing and eating the sand, which is quite different from when Taylor was that age, she HATED the sand and wouldn't step foot on it!! The kids also rode their bikes and razors a bunch and Ryan put together a treasure hunt for them! The guys surfed and paddle boarded a bit.

And here is just some bath time fun....
