4th of July

Long story short, my grandmother ended up in the hospital, my mom left early saturday morning for Sacramento to go be with her, so the girls and I ended up going to Burbank to hang with my dad and fam to have a mellow 4th. We went to Brian and Kate's and waited to see the fire works show that Lakeside Country Club puts on in Toluca Lake. We, and a bunch of other people waited around for an hour only to find out that the show had been cancelled by the fire marshall at the last second due to technical difficulties and it being too dangerous...so we heard. First time in 40 years for those fire works to be cancelled. So that was a bummer. But we had a good time hanging with family and when we got home Taylor at least got to see some fireworks on TV.
